All External Redemptions are subject to validation. If you submit incorrect or incomplete information, your Publisher may ask you for more information to validate a purchase. Until the requested information is provided, your External Redemptions will be blocked. You can still make purchases in the Boom Store. 


Follow these instructions for how to to respond to a dispute. 



Redemption disputes can be found in your Dashboard or in your Settings. Example below:

Disputes are sent by the Publisher if the information provided at the time of redemption does not match their sales records. Information that may be challenged includes:


  • Order Number- The order number may be invalid, incomplete, or does not match Publisher records
  • Purchaser Name Does Not Match- The name on the Publisher records does not match the name of the buyer
  • Purchase Date- The date entered does not match the Publisher records for date of purchase
  • Marketplace- The third-party marketplace entered does not match the Publisher records


You will have 7 days to respond with the correct information. The 7 day timer will start on the day of sign in after the dispute is initiated. If you fail to respond before the expiration date, the redeemed purchase will be removed from your Library. At this time, your external redemptions will remain blocked. 



You will have 2 chances to provide the correct information before the redemption is removed from your account. The ability to make external redemptions is blocked until all disputes pending against you are resolved in your favor. 


External Redemptions are a privilege. Publishers pay a fee for each external redemption. Invalid redemptions harm teacher authors. Users found to be abusing external redemptions are subject to a range of consequences, including but not limited to losing access to your account, and in egregious cases referral for legal action.  


We understand people make mistakes. However, a pattern suggests intent. If we see a pattern of redeeming without validation you will be locked from redemptions.
