When Boom Cards is installed in a course, you will see a navigation link for it in the course navigation area.
If you do not see Boom Cards as an option under Courses, please contact sales@boomlearning.com. We need to set up your school with our Canvas integration.
You can use this link as a convenient way to access the Boom Cards app. From here you can do things like view your library or get additional content from the store.
The first time you access a Boom Cards link, Boom Cards will try to associate your Canvas account with a Boom Cards account. A message box will appear asking you if you want to “Connect” to an existing account you may already have with Boom Cards. If you do not already have an account with Boom Cards, select “Create New”.
Connecting your Canvas account to your Boom Cards account
Once you select that you want to connect to an existing account, Boom Cards will bring you to the Boom Cards login screen so you can log in to your Boom Cards account. Click ‘Okay’ on the message box and proceed to login in. You can log in using any of the methods presented to you.
Note 1: You will have 5 minutes to complete this process. If you exceed that period, you will simply have to relaunch Boom Cards from the navigation line and try again.
Note 2: If you realize you don’t have a pre-existing account in Boom Cards, just reselect the Boom Cards link in the Canvas course navigation menu to change your selection. Once complete, you will see a confirmation that the accounts were connected.
Once connected, you will not have to do this again.
If you don’t connect your account within the time required, click on the “Boom Cards” link in the course navigation menu to restart the process.
Connecting your Canvas account to a new Boom Cards account
If you choose to create a new account in Boom Cards, it will be automatically created and associated with your Canvas account.
